More Than Just a Photoshoot: Celebrating Community and DIY Spirit
We're still buzzing from our recent photoshoot, and we wanted to share the experience with you all. It was more than just a photoshoot; it was a celebration of community, creativity, and the power of women supporting women.
The Vision
We wanted to capture the essence of NPG - real people, real style, and a genuine connection to our Northern roots. We wanted to showcase our clothing in a way that felt authentic and relatable, and we knew we couldn't do it without the help of our amazing community.
Calling All Confident People!
To find our models, we put a call out on social media, asking for confident individuals who embodied the NPG spirit. We were overwhelmed with the response and chose five amazing people – real people, not professional models! But what they all had in common was bags of confidence and a passion for representing NPG.

The DIY Setup
We kept our setup simple and affordable. We used:
- A backdrop stand from Amazon (around £65)
- A pink paper backdrop (around £70)
- Two softbox lights in a kit (£70)
- Props sourced for around £30
And guess what? We shot everything on an iPhone 15 Pro! No fancy cameras or equipment needed. We just adjusted the vibrancy and cropped the photos as needed.
The Energy
The atmosphere on the day was electric! There was so much laughter, encouragement, and positive energy. It was truly inspiring to be surrounded by such a supportive and empowering group of people.

The Results
We're so thrilled with how the photos turned out! They capture the spirit of NPG perfectly - authentic, stylish, and full of Northern charm. You can check out some of the photos on our website and social media.
